Education

  • Since 1 October 2012 - PhD studies (resumed) at the Laboratory of Crystallography, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Warsaw, Supervisor: Prof. Krzysztof Woźniak. Experience in: structural X-ray measurements, basics of quantum calculations in Tonto program (wave function for molecular clusters, Hirshfeld Atom Refinement and fitting wave function to experimental crystallographic data).

  • 5 September 2012 - Master degree in physics obtained at the Institute of Experimental Physics, Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw, supervised by dr. Jacek Szczytko and prof. Andrzej Majhofer Thesis title: Magnetization of a Composite Material Based on Cobalt Nanoparticles – Monte Carlo Simulation Experience in: creating a simple C++ code for Monte Carlo method including Ewald summation and simulation of FC/ZFC and hysteresis curves for a system of superparamagnetic Co nanoparticles.

  • 1 October 2011 – 30 September 2012 - PhD studies at the Chair of Condensed Matter Physics, Institute of Theoretical Physics, Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw, Supervisor: Prof. Jacek Majewski. Experience in: DFT calculations of geometrical and electronic properties of graphene functionalized with boron and nitrogen atoms.

  • 1 October 2010 – 30 September 2011 - PhD studies at the Laboratory of Crystallography, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Warsaw, Supervisor: Prof. Krzysztof Woźniak. Experience in: calculation of atomic multipole moments using various density partitions (pseudoatoms, Hirshfeld partition, AIM), theoretical calculations of reflections.

  • 30 June 2010 - Master degree in chemistry (with honors) obtained at the Laboratory of Crystallography run by Prof. K. Woźniak, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Warsaw, supervised by dr. Paulina Dominiak Thesis title: The dependence of transferability of atomic multipoles for amino acids and peptides on density partition method

  • 1 October 2005 – 30 December 2011 - Inter-faculty Individual Studies in Mathematics and Natural Science at University of Warsaw – studies in the fields of chemistry and physics.
