Currently, I am working as a Deputy Manager at the Core Facility for Crystallography and Biophysics (CFCB), located in Biological and Chemical Research Centre, University of Warsaw headed by Prof. Krzysztof Wozniak (Crystallochemistry Laboratory, Department of Chemistry, University of Warsaw). The project “Core facility for crystallographic and biophysical research to support the development of medicinal products” is funded by the TEAM-TECH Core Facility programme from the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP).

I have completed the SKILLS Internship, from the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) at the Professor Wladek Minor Laboratory (Department of Molecular Physiology and Biological Physics, University of Virginia, Charlottesville). The internship gave me a great opportunity to work on state-of-art projects in the field of X-ray crystallography of proteins. I completed my additional biochemical studies and management skills and lead the project on glyoxylate reductase (manuscript submitted). Within this Project I have also renewed my research cooperation with Dr. Krzysztof Ginalski (LBSB, CeENT, UW).
I did my Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Magdalena Boguta (Department of Genetics, Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics, PAS). My postdoctoral research with Dr. Krzysztof Ginalski (LBSB, CeNT, UW) was focused on identification and characterization of novel protein domains involved in nucleic acid metabolism. For this research I was granted the Polish Biochemical Society Award, in the honor of J.K. Parnas.
I have developed my skills in a number of molecular biology techniques. I have also gained an experience in writing and carrying on grant research, arranging multidisciplinary research team and managing co-workers from different research disciplines.
I have a very good attitude to teach and guide students. I received the Award from the MSHE for the best science presenting team.
I have also developed broad skills in designing, completing and managing of research laboratories. Recently, I have contributed to establishing one of the biggest laboratories at the BCRC headed by Professor Krzysztof Wozniak (Crystallochemistry Laboratory, Department of Chemistry, UW).
